Dianna Hobbs is the dynamic and award-winning force behind Empowering Everyday Women Ministries—but things didn’t start that way.

From her humble beginnings as a young wife and mother juggling the demands of four little ones, Dianna Hobbs, the visionary founder of Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, carved out moments amidst the whirlwind of diapers and homeschool lessons to pen words of encouragement. Her message was simple yet profound: every woman, regardless of life's messiness and the whispers of self-doubt, is called to accomplish great things for God.

Dianna's unwavering commitment to this message, despite having no blog readers or subscribers initially, has propelled her to reach millions, establishing her as a leading voice in faith-based empowerment. Her dedication to uplifting everyday women to offer their very best to God, with the expectation that He will handle the rest, has become the foundation of our ministry's mission.

The Empowering Everyday Women (EEW) Online Magazine founder is also a force in the web publishing landscape, owning one of the most recognized digital media brands for Black Christian women. Dianna believes that when we surrender to the Lord, His extraordinary power amplifies our ordinary efforts, enabling us to do spectacular things for His Kingdom.

Today, as a prolific writer, Dianna’s blog, Your Daily Cup of Inspiration, stands among the top blogs for women of faith in America, with its companion podcast drawing millions worldwide. Her online magazine, EEW Magazine Online, is a leading publication for Black Christian women, offering a steady stream of news, inspiration, and empowerment.

A Testament to Resilience

Dianna personifies the victorious spirit encapsulated in Romans 8:37, living out her belief that she is "more than a conqueror through Jesus Christ." Her life is a testament to resilience and faith. She is not only a sexual assault survivor, but her narrative took a miraculous turn in 2017, when she experienced a spontaneous and complete recovery from two debilitating autoimmune diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, after medical professionals had exhausted their hope for her healing. During a prayer service on March 26th, she received a divine touch that instantaneously granted her the ability to walk, talk, and sing, glorifying God with her restored health.

In 2019, Dianna once again faced a formidable challenge when an unexpected medical emergency led to her admission to the ICU. While there, she experienced over 20 seizures and a mini-stroke, which resulted in paralysis on her left side, as well as impairments to her speech and cognitive functions.

Defying all medical odds and predictions that she would require extensive rehabilitation and in-home care, Dianna, fortified by her steadfast faith, miraculously rose from her hospital bed and walked—her recovery witnessed by her loved ones as a testament to the extraordinary. Despite the lasting impact of a traumatic brain injury that introduced a unique set of challenges, the grace and favor of God in her life are unmistakably present, as evidenced by her continued capacity to serve in ministry.

In September 2024, Dianna Hobbs sat down for a compelling interview about her journey and shared a brand new song, “Don’t Know Why”—OUT NOW—which was born out of the struggle.

These days, Dianna is even further along in her recovery and has amazed doctors by doing things they thought she would never do again. She now uses her vulnerability and transparency about the painful ordeal as a reminder to other everyday women going through struggles that God gets glory through our story, turns our pain into purpose, and transforms our test into a testimony.
