Standing on Faith: Why We Choose God's Provision Over Federal Funding
There's a question that often comes up in our conversations with supporters and fellow ministry partners: "How do you sustain your work without federal funding?"
It's a fair question, especially with the coming changes under a new Administration. But the answer lies at the very heart of who we are as a ministry.
Since 2007, Empowering Everyday Women Ministries has been dedicated to making an impact on culture through Christian outreach. Our mission isn't just about providing humanitarian aid – though we certainly do that through our food distribution, clean water initiatives, and emergency assistance programs. It's about something far more eternal.
You see, when we hand out care packages filled with sanitary products, we're not just meeting physical needs – we're opening doors to share about the God who cares deeply about every aspect of women's lives. When we provide free tutoring and educational resources, we're not just improving literacy – we're creating opportunities to mentor young hearts in Christ. When we distribute free Bibles and Christian resources, we're not just giving away books – we're sharing the very Word of Life that has the power to transform lives forever.
This is why we've made a bold choice: to operate completely independent of federal funding.
Could we have chosen an easier path? Absolutely. Federal grants would have provided millions in guaranteed support. But they would have come with strings attached – strings that could have prevented us from freely sharing the Gospel, from speaking truth in love, from fully living out our calling to be both hands-on servants and digital evangelists in today's complex world.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free Christian resources to build your faith, we've chosen to rely entirely on the generosity of believers who share our vision. People like you, who understand that true empowerment comes through knowing Jesus Christ.
Every time we:
Distribute food to a hungry family
Provide clean water to a community
Hand out free Bibles and Christian resources
Offer digital evangelism tools
