This weekend, our “Feed and Read” event was a major success with more than 50 volunteers on-hand helping more than 200 families across the Western NY community. Our staff was overwhelmed by the community’s response and are grateful for all the helping hands of friends, supporters and partners like you!

In today’s ministry newsletter, our founder Dianna Hobbs thanked everyone involved. We are all truly blown away by your amazing heart for ministry. Let’s keep doing Kingdom work together!

Dianna’s letter is posted below:

I want to say thank you to everyone who volunteered with our organization this weekend to feed the hungry and provide free literacy and tutoring services for inner-city families. You are a blessing. Our staff was amazed by the sheer volume of supporters and helpers. Wow.

For those of you who could not be there, but you supported our 501c3 nonprofit organization with donations, thank you. The looks on the faces of the many families that were helped by this initiative were priceless.

I deeply appreciate that you not only receive from this ministry, but you also invest in it. There's nothing like showing your appreciation through your actions. May the Lord reward your generosity. If you feel moved by the Holy Spirit to support our efforts, please sow a seed of any size. There is nothing too big or too small. I know God will bless you for giving.

Also, this ministry received a touching testimony from Renee in Buffalo who was at our event. She said:

I fell on hard times 5 years ago when my husband Larry died unexpectedly. My part-time job was not enough to make ends meet. I have been playing catch up since that time and getting the kids through school is a challenge. Your ministry has helped out so much by blessing our family with food and education support. I praise God that your team provides not only inspiration but real hands-on support for families in need like mine. God bless you. One day I pray that I am in the position to give back all you have poured into my family. Until then, I hope this simple thank you is enough.
