It has been so rewarding and fulfilling to donate to food banks in need of supplies and bless families that are suffering due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Our team at Empowering Everyday Women Ministries has been astounded by your generosity and support and how you have helped us get essential items and donations to those who need it most.

As you know, many families are still suffering and need our help urgently. That’s why we are extending our Our Plus One™ Campaign, that began in March, through May and June.

Empowering Everyday Women Ministries’ community partners have expressed that there is still a dire need and demand for food but a very limited and diminishing supply. You can help us make a difference once again.

As explained in a previous blog post, there are empty shelves at food banks, pantries and soup kitchens that give food to those in need. This grim reality has hit food banks locally, regionally and nationally.

This means vulnerable communities are most at risk for hunger and food insecurity due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, and it just breaks our hearts. We can’t stand idly by and let it happen.

With your donations Empowering Everyday Women can continue doing our part to feed hungry families and support food banks that are lacking support and food supplies.

Our Plus One™ Campaign reminds those who are blessed with a little extra, to care for your family plus one other family during this global pandemic. You can easily do this by donating and joining us in following the biblical command found in Luke 3:11 that says, “If you have food, share it with someone else.”

Donations made to our 501c3 nonprofit organization throughout May and June will go specifically toward helping fight hunger in vulnerable communities. Join our Plus One™ Campaign today simply by making a donation right here at EmpoweringEverydayWomen.org.

Stay safe and be generous. The Lord will reward your giving.
